Video games?

Remember the video games that i have posted about on my first post? Yeah well, I decieded to post about what i actually play on my pc and DS.

The type of ‘video games’ that I have most on my DS is actually japanese games labelled as ‘Otome Games’. Otome games is bascially a game where the girl chases the guy in the game which she really likes. Ya……I have no life! But whatever!

In truth, Otome games are not really an expanded industry. That is because game makers generally target male gamers as their audience. Well, I’m pretty pissed about it because i only have a limited number of this kind of games to choose from……. The worst thing about this is that alot of good Otome games are in japanese, which means that i’m not able to play unless they dub it! At least it improves my japanese……….

ok, onto my pc! There are online games that are free! And i’m not talking about Maple Story!!! What i’m talking about is the games that people (not pro) created themselves. Some of them are really fun to play while others are…. not s fun? Well there are a bunch of undiscovered talents in the ‘Underground games’, so go check it out! – Too lazy to hyperlink the web!

Gothic and Lolita bible?

So ya… i’m going to introduce something that is not commonly seen in Singapore but is getting popular!

Lolita is a sub culture that is normally confused with cosplay! While i am into cosplay, i am more of a lolita person.

First off, there are basically a few types of lolita: Sweet loli, Gothic lolita, punk loli, elegant loli and finally, gore lolita.

Sweet loli is the kind where there are light colours like pink or blue with a mixture of white. This is the most common type right now (if i’m not wrong). I own a couple of sweet loli dress myself but only because i have only a pair of pink and white mary janes (lolita shoes)! Most common brands that do sweet lolita is ‘Baby, The Stars Shine Bright’, ‘Angelic pretty’ and ‘Innocent world’.

Gothic lolita is basically black and white which gives it a darker ‘feel’ to it.

Punk loli is the kind that Misa in ‘Death Note’ wore. It’s a mixture of punk and lolita, which i don’t realy like because to me, it’s either pure lolita or punk!

Elegant Lolita is the kind which maidens in the rococo period wore. It’s the most classic kind of lolita you can get.

Finally! Gore loli – the rarest kind of lolita that can be found in Singapore. It’s one of my favourites!!! This is where the dresses get stain with blood (real or not? idk) and looks something that have just popped out of a horror movie! Maybe i will try this when i have guts to pour fake blood onto my dress……..

Oh i almost forgot! Wild loli is the fusion of lolita and a kimono….

Anyway, there are a few stores in Singapore which supply these lolita dresses: Haru (mainly cosplay though), Black Alice(my favourite), Alice 99 and one at liang court which i dun really remember right now.

Black Alice is my favourite probably because they really do supply originals from ‘Baby, The Star Shine Bright‘ store in Japan. There are also other brands like ‘Mary Magdalene‘ and ‘Victorian Maiden‘. Currently, i’m waiting for ‘Alice and the pirates” line from BTSSB and the huge paycheck that is going pay for it! Though i won’t mind if someone pays for it *hint* *hint*!

Cooking?

Had a very fun time last friday doing cooking! I’m in the Japanese Tsubasa cultural club then we had a cooking lesson on how to make ‘Okonomiyaki’. It is basically like a pancake but filled with cabbage and meat like ham or whatever you like!

We were split up into teams to cook the food. The ingredients were limited, so we had to be careful, but i had so much fun mixing the batter! The boys in my team have not really did any cooking and one of them even ask the girl how to boil the water! Haha!

Because of limited supply, we had to share a frying pan. So we let the other team cook their pancakes first. Their pancakes came out ok, but i think the inside was not really cooked and the outside was a little burnt. Anyway, ours were PERFECT! Why? Because we let the other team go first to learn from their mistakes! YAY, Go Team!!!

I shouldn’t be so happy about it considering that we almost cause the fire alarm to go off because there was smoke coming out of the pan and almost hit the smoke detectors! It’s my bad cause i forgot to lower the heat! Hehehe….

Out of all the event that had happened, the best part was being able to eat our creations! I’m so HAPPY!!! It was D.E.L.I.C.I.O.U.S!!!

Did two batch! I was a little surprised when the photographer wanted to take a photo of the pancakes though! I have no idea why…….

We had to drizzle sauce n mayo on the pancake and it was delicious but the second batch had a bit too much sauce and i felt like i was eating the sauce instead of the pancakes!

This the most fun i had had in cooking since Primary 6 when i ‘attempted’ to bake a cake, until we (my best friend and I) found out that we were using the wrong ingredients after like 5 batches!!!

The genre ‘Horror’

Ever watched a horror movie and got so frightened that you developed a phobia towards something? Well, i have but i eventually forgot about it. so, YAY for me!

Anyway, i remembered that my friend watched a horror movie where the ghost’s head popped out of the toliet bowl. He was so scared that he did not dare to use the toliet bowl at night for 3 days straight. HAHA…….

I, for one, had experience this sort of feel when i was around the age of 6? (i don’t really remember, so ya…..). I was in Thailand with my parents and we watched ‘The bride of Chucky’ with me drinking lots of water because i was scared. So after the movie ended, we went back to sleep and right in the middle of the night, my bladder decided that i should pee. But i was so scared that i decided to hold it in because i remembered that the bathroom had lots of full length mirror, which kind of creeped me out. So in the end i had to hold it in till my parents woke up to get into the bathroom with me.

There’s another time when i was working at night with my friends and she decided to tell us all a ghost story. The story was about a group of friends playing the ‘ouija board’ at night (again). At exactly midnight, there was a knock at the door and everyone got scared, but they decided to ask who was at the door. So the person says,”If you are a human, knock once. If you are a ghost, knock twice.” Two knocks. “If there are people with you, knock the door to tell us how many people.” And………KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK…! My friend was telling us this story while knocking on the table and scared the s***t out of me! She caused me not be able to sleep the whole night and the next day i got such ‘nice’ eye bags under my eyes.

Moral of the story is, Never drink water or tell ghost stories right before you go to bed. Otherwise, prepare to hold those water in!!!

Youtube celebs?

Like and will always love youtube, or the people on it!

Love channels like Smosh, Kevjumba, Desandnate, Shanedawsontv, etc…..

All their videos are so funny, maybe because they are random? I don’t know! I just love them! I have always wonder how they dare to do this kind of stupid stunts out in public. Because i sure as hell know i won’t! But maybe if i was drunk then maybe i will do it? Well, we won’t know that anytime sooner because i don’t drink! :b

Anyway, back to the topic, I’ve noticed that most people on youtube tend to swear ALOT! Is it ‘cool’ to swear? Is it what makes their video so funny? I dunno!

Oh…… and the comments that are left on the person’s video comment can sometimes be hateful and tends to stir up a few battles between singer like Miley Cyrus and Demi Lovato!

I thought photography was going to be fun but i was wrong, it’s tiring and i’m starting to hate it.

Nothing really fun happened the past few days…. Yes, i’m a very boring gal!!!

Video chatted with my friends and it was sooo funny the way we look outside n at home. It’s like two different people! Anyway, i’m going to watch Harper’s Island tonight n hope the murder has some good tricks up his sleeves like the last time….Hehehe!!!

Well, whatever! Since almost everybody is blogging, so i decided to do it as well!!!

Ahem, Well i like to procrastinate and sleep…… Other than that it’s just gaming all the way. But please don’t expect me to play games like world of war craft! Anyway i like games that is in the interest of the minority….

Oh yeah, i collect manga and occasionally draw them. Love Japanese language and sort wish i was one!

Aiming to work as an animator or storyboard artist for Nickelodeon or Disney pixar animation studios! Omg that is so my dream job and WILL work hard for it!
